Web 2.0 allows people the flexibility to; find,share and create information locally.

What are some great examples of this Web 2.0 approach?
Web 2.0 has evolved and improved over time and now offers better and more up to date services like – blogs, wiki’s, social networking, as well as communication tools and folksonomies. Throughout this research I came across a great Web 2.0 site -Andale.com. This is a site which analyses sales information from eBay and provides it to users, who will then be able to benefit from the auction site. Another fascinating Web 2.0 feature is HousingMaps.com, this site is classified as a real estate ad which is combined with another site- Google Maps. HousingMaps.com gives the viewers ability to quickly view a satellite map of the exact address.
All of these web applications have produced an advantage that develops on existing information, data and services and expands the information in ways not intended by the primary creators.

I've been in this business for a long long long time and I still find the label "Web 2.0" amusing on so many levels.
Web 2.0 is all based on technologies I've been using for what feels like hundreds of years and yet it has to be given a cute name so all those people looking to make more money from the net can bump-up its profile.
Web 2.0 is a great label, unfortunately in reality it means absolutely nothing.
